I also love bus journeys and I get excited whenever I get a chance to travel by bus. There are so many new people that we meet on our journey. Peeking out of the window gives a calming feeling. I see trees and bushes dancing by saying hello to me. There are so many ways to travel from one place to another like by airplane, by train, by ship, and by bus among all these traveling by bus is my way of traveling.
It is easy to find a bus no matter where we are standing on the planet. The majority of the people travel by bus because it is easily accessible and also affordable. In India, we see buses everywhere. There are short routes and long routes buses and it gets easy to take a bus and reach our destination. I hate small journeys because the fun is too short.
I have traveled to so many places by bus but there are some journeys which are special to us and we can never forget about them. My grandparents live in Himachali Pradesh and on vacation, I travel to this beautiful hill station. Traveling by bus to any hill station will give you an experience that we can never forget. There are beautiful mountains, pine trees, rivers, and friendly faces on the way. During the last vacation, I traveled to my grandparent’s place by bus with my best friend. This journey was about to give me an amazing experience.
We booked our tickets beforehand and we had to take the bus in the early morning. It was a 9-hour-long journey but I wished it never ended. There are both normal as well as tourist buses for people who wish to travel to Himachali Pradesh. The bus was good and the seats were very comfortable.
The only thing I was unhappy with was the songs they were playing, but we had a solution. We had our iPods with us and this is how we solved the problem of poor quality music. We also exchanged our iPods and that day I got to know how amazing the taste of music my friend had. When we were listening and traveling, the feeling was beautiful. It was a beautiful day and spring was on the way. Old leaves in the trees were falling and fresh new leaves were coming on the trees. On the way, we saw many beautiful types of flora. On the way, we also came across many herds of cows and sheep. The time you enter the borders of the mountains the sight gets completely changed. Local people are busy with their day-to-day lives. The fragrance of burning wood and cow dung can instantly take you into a trance. In the metro cities, we have only pollution and the killing smell of petrol. Traveling by bus is amazing because when you open the window you can breathe the fresh air of the mountains. Your lungs feel great and your soul feels amazing.
We stopped in between the journey to have lunch and tea. These destinations were also beautiful as now we have entered the mountains trails and the look is completely different from the highways. There is green everywhere, no pollution, and places that consisted of unmatched beauty.
