Napoleon Bonaparte Biography, Wikipedia, History, Death, Napoleon Bonaparte was born on the 15th of August 1769 in Corsica which was occupied by the French at that time. His father was Carlo Maria did Bonaparte and his mother’s name was Maria Letizia Ramolino. The Father of Napoleon Bonaparte was a dedicated supporter of the Corsican resistance leader Pasquale Paoli.

At that time when Paoli moved to Corsica Carlo shifted his loyalty to the France side and then he got the opportunity to enroll both of his sons Napoleon Bonaparte and Joseph into the French College d’Autun. 

After spending a few years in the college Napoleon Bonaparte took admitted to Brienne College where he spent five years in the military college and then shifted to the Paris military academy. In the year 1785 Napoleon Bonaparte’s father died after which he moved back to Corsica to take care of his family.  Napoleon got graduated from the Paris military academy and became an artillery officer and then he returned to his hometown Corsica in the year 1786.

Napoleon Bonaparte was following his father and provided his support to Paoli where he led nationalists in the civil war. Paoli and Napoleon Bonaparte had many differences and this is why napoleon withdrew his support and moved to France with his family where he opted for the French version of their name Bonaparte.

He then joined the military unit in 1793 and threw support to the Jacobins which was a popular and progressive party after the French revolution.  Jacobins were in dictatorial power for a little time.

Napoleon fell out of favor with the leadership of Jacobin which saved him from execution. After that Napoleon Bonaparte came into the good books of the government because he defended counter-revolutionary fighters in the year 1795. He was the commander of the army and also a trusted military advisor of the federal.

Napoleon Bonaparte fought long for the peace between British and the French.

He was victorious in the east where he defeated Russian and Austrian forces after which he install his loyal individuals in positions in Sweden, Naples, Spain, Italy, Hollan,d and Westphalia.  In 1810 NapoleonBonapartes marital status and married Marie-Louise who was the daughter of the Austrian emperor who was just 18 years old and had a son.

 At this time invincibility of napoleon was coming to end as defeats after defeats damaged the France budget and the Russian invasion in 1812 in which 600,000 men participated but only 10,000 were in the condition to fight for the nation.

Napoleon’s defeat filled his rivals with confidence. there were limited resources for Napoleon Bonaparte and tension was huge so Napoleon Bonaparte surrendered on 30th March 1814  after which he was exiled from France and sent to the island of Elba. After one year Napoleon Bonaparte escaped and went to Paris where his followers were overjoyed.

He led his force once again and defeated the Prussian force in Belgium but was humiliated again at waterloo. After getting defeated again he abdicated his powers and titles. He requested his son to be named emperor but his request was denied. After his second time resignation, he was sent into exile and sent to St. Helena.

He deteriorated into boredom and disconnected himself from the world. He got cancer in his stomach in 1817 after which his health was going down badly. By 1821 spring he was totally bedridden and wrote his will “I wish my ashes to rest on the banks of the Seine, in the midst of that French person which I have loved so much. I die before my time, killed by the English oligarchy and its hired assassins.” The once proud emperor died on the 5th of May, 1821.
