Anthony Mangun was born on 12 January 1950 in Alexandria, LA. He is American by nationality and has given his entire life to people. He was born to Vesta Mangun and G.A. Mangun. There are not many details available about his family. 

Since he was an infant his parents accepted the pastorate of the Pentecostals of Alexandria, the congregation in which he now serves as a pastor. It is like his destiny was already decided. This community is growing and more and more people are becoming part of this community.

Anthony Mangun went to Bolton High School in his home town and after that, they went to Apostolic Bible Institute in St. Paul, MN, and Louisiana College in Pineville, LA. After obtaining his education he went to a full-time ministry job as an evangelist in the late 1960s. 

He was also an itinerant minister for six years and this was the time when he got married.   The couple got settled in Texas and they started working for the church on the Dallas metroplex.

Now Pentecostals of Alexandria operates in many diverse locations with seventy-five plus cumulative acres that include a place for sitting of 2500 people, it is having s small classrooms and auditorium, a  family life center that has a meeting room, a gym, and their grace house and house of mercy transitional housing for people who are starting over. 

There has been additional building an acquired by Anthony who is across the street a bit away from the main campus that is used for events and also houses a church ministry SEVEN to those who have addictions and their families.

Anthony Mangun has taken the church to new heights and the entire Mangun family is present there to help people who come to them in pain and seeking help. 

Over the years Anthony Mangun hosts because of the Times which is a yearly conference for ministries and their partners with over three thousand registrants. Anthony Mangun is a gifted speaker and people love to hear when he speaks in the church and outside.
