Andy Gibb was born in Stretford, Lancashire, England. He was having British nationality. His parents were Hugh Gibb and Barbara Gibb. The couple had five children and Andy Gibb was the youngest. His father was of English/Scottish and his mother was of Irish/English descent. Andy Gibb had one sister and three brothers.
His sister was Lesley and his brother’s names are Barry, Maurice, and Robin Gibb. When Andy was just six years old his family relocated to Queensland and settled on Cribb Island. His family had to relocate numerous times between Sydney and Brisbane.
In 1967 Andy went back home to the UK and his older brothers were having success time with their band Bee Gees. He was not part of the band. His mother used to say that she used to send Andy to school but he used to sneak off to sleep with his loving horses all day.
