Dr. Rajendra Prasad mother Smt. Kamleshwari Devi was a simple religious woman and his father Shri. Mahadev Sahai was a knowledgeable man. Prasad’s family was a financially fulfilling and happy family. He belonged to a family of Diwans of Hathua state. He got his early education from the village school and studied Urdu and Persian.
At the age of five, he was studying Persian from a maulvi and then he joined Zilla School in Chapra. He completed his early schooling at the district school and then he went to TK Ghosh Academy in Patna. At the age of thirteen, Prasad was married to a girl Rajvanshi Devi.
After getting married his plan was not to settle down but to gain higher education so he went to Kolkata University. In his high school examination, he scored first position. He was so good at studying that he scored first position in all of his exams. After high school, he completed his bachelor’s in law and started his career in law.
