The early life of Albert Einstein Wikipedia

Albert Einstein was born in a middle-class Jewish family. His father Hermann Einstein was a featherbed salesman and later he worked in an electrochemical factory and had mild success in his profession. Albert Einstein’s mother was Pauline Koch who was a housemaker.

Albert Einstein had one sibling and her sister’s name was Maria who was two years younger than Albert. Albert Einstein used to talk about things and experiences he had in his early life. He used to talk about two wonderful experiences in his life which were life-changing. The first was a compass as a gift at the age of five.

As a kid, he used to think that there are unnatural forces that move the needles of that compass. This is where he developed an interest in the invisible forces that used to fascinate him. The second experience was when he was 12 years old when he discovered a book on geometry. He used to call that book a ” sacred little geometry book”.

Albert Einstein was also a religious child but all changed when he got in contact with science. Science used to contradict his religious beliefs. Albert Einstein used to go to a Prussian-style school where his teacher also said that he will never do anything in his life.

One person put an impact on him was a young medical student called Max Talmey who used to have dinner at his home often. Max introduced Albert to higher philosophy and mathematics. When Albert was 16 Talmey introduced him to a kid’s science series by Aaron Berstein.

In this series, the author mentioned his fantasy of traveling alongside the electricity that was present inside a telegraph wire. Now Albert Einstein had many fantasies and questions of his own. Albert Einstein was a bright child and he wrote his first scientific paper “The Investigation of the State of Aether in Magnetic Fields.

His education was disturbed when Albert’s father faced bad times in his business. His father moved to Milan and Albert Einstein was left in a boardinghouse in Munich. He felt miserable and when he turned 16 he ran away later after six months he landed at the doorstep of his parents.

His parents realized the problems he used to face at the school after he struggled a lot to get admission to school. His scores were always great in mathematics and physics but used to fail biology, chemistry, and French subjects. He had exceptional scores in mathematics she was allowed into the polytechnic but he had to finish his school first.

Then he went to a special high school in Switzerland run by Jost Winteler and graduated in 1896. He became lifelong friends with the Winteler family. Albert Einstein used to recall his years in Zurich as his happiest years. He met all his friends and even his future wife there who was a fellow physics student from Serbia Mileva Maric.

Albert Einstein’s bad times

Albert Einstein completed his graduation in 1900 and then he faced a huge crisis in his life. He used to study on his own and used to skip classes which affected his reputation among some professors. He was turned down from all the academic positions he applied for.

There was one good thing in his life his relationship with Maric but his parents were opposed. His mother objected because of Maric’s Serbian background. Albert Einstein still lived with her and also had a child Lieserl whose fate is unknown.

He failed to marry Maric and was unable to support his family as he had no job, and his father also went bankrupt.  Albert used to take low jobs like tutoring and even field jobs.

Albert Einstein’s turning point

Albert Einstein’s turning point came when Marcel his father’s friend recommended him a position as a clerk in the Swiss patent office in Bern. He had lots of time and a steady income so he started working on his dream and formulated the principle of relativity.  Many scientists worked on the theory but Albert Einstein was the first one to assemble it properly.

He wrote many papers and worked very hard and in 1915 he proved the theory which was considered a masterpiece. Now he used to give lectures and also teaches students. After That he gave many lectures, wrote various papers, and worked with many other scientists like Hubble, Sigmund Freud, and many others. Albert Einstein died on 18th April 1955 in Princeton, New Jersey.
