Father Blount was born on 18 July 1958 in Tampa, Florida, United States. He is an American and was born into a very big family. He was having 5 sisters and two brothers. Father Blount went to school in his hometown. He went to Robinson High School in Tampa. Father Blount was a very much talented child and he used to participate in many activities.

He was an officer of his school student council, a participant in the marching band, and also used to perform in his football team. Father Blount has he interest in sports.  Father Blount then graduated with many honors degrees.

He also graduated in journalism and had many achievements in the sports field. He also got a scholarship to enroll in the United States Navy in Florida.

Father Blount had a huge attachment to his graduation days.  He graduated in the year 1976 and it was an unforgettable time for him. This was the year when they got graduated after two hundred years of their country gaining independence. Father Blount enjoyed every day of his college.  He was a very good student with many talents.

He studied social science, political science, and even naval science. He first wished to become a lawyer like his father. Like any other teenager, he used to get distracted as well. Teenagers used to drink and party but Father Blount used to keep them far away from such life.

Father Blount was very motivated and strong-headed. At ROTC he started experiencing tough times as he was to operate a top-secret weapon.

Many things used to disturb his colleagues used to boast about how many people they have killed in the war. Everyone used to talk about war and violence which used to affect him badly.  There were people around him who wished to kill more people because they enjoyed it. He used to visit the school counselor frequently to talk it out. 

Father Blount used to pray to get every day but he was so confused and was looking for a solution.  He started hearing the voices of god in his head and this is when he left school.  He then started working at a steakhouse as a chef.

Blume’s steakhouse is renowned in the United States. He then moved to his hometown and started working in a hospital.  He worked as a central supply clerk and also worked as a worker on a construction site.  

In the year 1992, he started studying at the seminary of the holy apostles. Here he studied functions of the church and psychology, scriptures of saints, and philosophy and received a master’s degree. He also took spiritual training from the society of our lady in New Mexico the desert. He became a Benedictine Monk after taking his vows. 

In 1999 he became graduated after spending six years in Holy Apostles. He also met some famous people like father Benedict Cashel, Cardinals, and Bishops. He then became a priest in Corpus Christi in Texas. He then returned home when his father passed away.
